    Five layers for Cirlex are bonded together with Fralock’s proprietary Adhesiveless Laminate Technology (A.L.T.™) which means there is no outgassing of adhesives as with other laminate technology (PSA for example). This means no contamination of sample test gases will occur allowing for a more accurate and consistent reading/measure. The milling requirements for this application were also very critical. Channels as narrow as .016" that require alignment to holes .020" diameter required precise milling of layers and dimensionally stable materials. The properties of Cirlex and Fralock's unique adhesiveless lamination system makes it possible to bond multiple layers with holes and channels while ensuring that none of the channels are compromised and that all the holes stay in alignment with the corresponding channels to ensure gas flow.
